ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST-FORESTRY

TDB Consultants Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Engineering Technologist in its Forestry Department for work in Prince George and surrounding areas. The Engineering Technologist will report directly to the Engineering Manager. This position will include a mix between field engineering, planning and drafting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma in Engineering, Geosciences, Forestry or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Forestry
- Registered or eligible to register as an EIT, FIT, GIT or RPF
- Drafting experience with programs such as AutoCAD and RoadEng.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a related field
Key Responsibilities:
Field Engineering:
- Total station site plan surveys
- Resource sector and municipal construction works-coordination and supervision
- Resource road and bridge engineering
Planning and Drafting:
- Resource road development planning
- Stream crossing design
- Forest hydrology
- Geometric road design and analysis
